There’s something special about getting the right people in a room together and our recent lab onsite in Edmonton, Alberta, was a perfect example of that. Hosted in partnership with the incredible team at Technicare, the day brought together current clients, industry partners, and potential new clients for a day filled with high energy, plenty of laughs, and meaningful collaboration. One of the highlights of the day was the opportunity to have open and honest conversations about some of the concerns and obstacles currently facing the industry. From navigating operational challenges to identifying opportunities for sustainable growth, we discussed practical tools and strategies that can help mitigate risk, improve efficiency, and set studios and labs up for continued success. These conversations are a great reminder that innovation isn’t just about new technology, it’s about understanding what our clients are experiencing and finding better ways to support them. Kalyn Showcased what makes Workflow such a versatile solution and highlight some of the exciting new capabilities our team has put in place. It was a great chance to demonstrate how Workflow can adapt to the evolving needs of labs and studios, while helping teams streamline their processes, manage risk, and create new opportunities for growth. Seeing the conversations and ideas sparked by the demo was one of the best parts of the day! We also had the pleasure of connecting with Kelly from our marketing team, who shared insights into the trends our studios have been seeing and explored different ways businesses can leverage those trends to drive revenue. From understanding changing customer expectations to identifying new opportunities within the market, the conversation highlighted the importance of staying curious, staying connected, and being willing to adapt. A huge thank you to the entire Technicare team for their continued partnership and for everything they did to make this event such a success. Your hospitality, collaboration, and enthusiasm helped create an environment where great conversations could happen, ideas could be shared, and relationships could grow. We truly appreciate the partnership and look forward to everything we’ll continue to accomplish together. And keep your eyes out… you never know when we might be coming to a lab near you! 👀

What's Captura + Stripe Capital? It's a financing program designed specifically for Captura users. Think of it as flexible funding when you need it most, whether that's growing your business, hiring help, or getting through the slower months. How do you determine who qualifies for an offer? Eligibility is determined based on a combination of factors, including overall sales volume and history with Captura. Eligible US businesses will receive an email and Express Dashboard notification if they have an offer available. Do I have to pay interest? No, you’ll pay one flat fee that doesn’t change. You won’t pay any interest on top of this fee. Will applying for an offer affect my personal credit rating? Applying for financing through Stripe Capital might require a personal credit check under some circumstances, but this credit check doesn’t impact your personal credit score. If a personal credit check is required you’ll be notified during the application process. All offers are determined based on a number of factors, including order volume and your history of orders through Captura. Can I request a different offer amount? When you log into your Stripe Capital + Captura Dashboard, you can use a slider to choose a custom amount (up to the maximum offer amount). The financing fee and payment rate adjust based on the amount you choose. When do I need to pay the flat fee? You’ll automatically pay the flat fee through a percentage of your sales until the total amount financed is repaid. The fee isn’t charged up-front. How does payment work? Payment is collected automatically through a percentage of your [Platform Name] sales as they’re processed which means you pay down more when business is busy and less if things slow down. As long as you meet your minimum payment requirement, what you pay each day adjusts to your sales. What’s a minimum payment? For loans, a minimum payment is the minimum amount that you’re expected to repay every payment period. That period will be determined during underwriting and based on the total term of your loan offer. If your automatic payments don’t meet this minimum, you’ll be required to pay the remaining amount at the end of the period. You can view your minimum payment amount in the Dashboard or in your loan agreement. How do I make my minimum payment? If your payments deducted from sales cover the minimum payment requirement for payment period, no action will be taken. If you’ve not met the minimum payment amount by the end of the payment period, for loans, Stripe will automatically debit your bank account or account balance the balance needed to meet your minimum payment. There’s no action needed on your part. After I accept an offer, how quickly will I get my funds? If your application is approved, you’ll see the funds in your bank account typically in as soon as 2 business days. To make sure that funds are disbursed successfully, you must set a valid bank account as your primary payout method. Can I have my Capital funds paid out to a card? We currently don’t support disbursal of funds to a card. To make sure that funds are disbursed successfully, you must set a valid bank account as your primary payout method. What happens when my offer expires? Each offer is available for 30 days. After that point, your business will automatically be re-evaluated to see if you’re eligible for an additional offer. Can I repay my financing early? Yes, you can make additional payments or pay the total amount financed in full at any point by clicking the ‘Make Payment’ button in your Dashboard. There are no additional fees for early payment. Will repaying early qualify me for a new offer? After you repay the total amount financed, we’ll automatically evaluate you for a new offer. Repaying early doesn’t automatically qualify you for a new offer. How should I report these funds on my taxes? Tax reporting is often dependent on your specific situation, so we encourage you to talk with a tax advisor to ensure appropriate accounting. In general, Stripe Capital funds wouldn’t be considered taxable income at the time of receipt, and the amounts withheld to satisfy your obligations aren’t tax deductible. Hey y’all! Roger Pack here 🙂 Some of you know me, some of you don’t, which is perfectly fine. Today, you will learn a little bit about me and my passion for helping people to improve their quality of life through process and software implementation. Today, we are going to talk about the importance of clear, accessible processes, which are key to scaling your success and your studio's team's success. It all starts with a source of truth. Steps that you repeat every time there is a picture day. Yes, this can vary from sport to sport and school to school, with unique requests, but that is expected. Having a standard process that allows room for exceptions enables studios to provide special requests without stopping the train. Empowering your studio’s team with a process that they repeat every time. From the order of operations, which software/s steps to take, cut down on time spent looking for answers or asking questions that can cause bottlenecks because of not knowing what steps to take next. Knowing which software to use for what purpose is crucial to keeping picture day and post-picture-day moving. Knowing which order to import/export out, which software and settings to check, and how is crucial to meeting your turnaround time for getting ready to sell images back to your parents. Having these steps laid out in a comprehensible and accessible Google doc, using bullets, and having expectations laid out for your unique scenarios will give you tangiable CTA and onboarding docuementation (Google doc is an easy task) for getting what is in not only in your head onto paper but allowing the team you have built to give feedback to help make the process better. This will remove the IDK bottleneck and give you the freedom to avoid answering basic questions and handling situations. Bonus piece of information: Find a lead person for your department or overall operations so you can focus on scaling your business! Now, I could’ve gone on, but we would be here all day! However, you can join Lucy and me on Wednesday, April 29th @ 12 pm Eastern for a webinar where I'll talk a bit about process and share more of my opinions!
