Optimizing "Products You've Unlocked" feature for upselling
Summary: Matt Newman inquired about customizing the 'products you've unlocked' feature in a pricesheet to better align with sales strategies. Matt Newman suggested re-ordering products based on criteria like popularity, profit margins, or impulse buy potential. Acknowledging the current alphabetical arrangement, they described three complexity levels for implementation: a data-driven approach based on purchase history, a moderately complex item-driven prioritization, and a simpler universal prioritization system. This customization could potentially enhance upselling opportunities by highlighting relevant products.
When configuring a pricesheet, can we customize or optimize the "products you've unlocked" product appearances to target products we'd like to sell. Right now it seems they appear in alphabetical order. I'd love to be able to target the order in some way for "popular add-ons" or "typically ordered together," high margin add-ons, low-cost add-ons for impulse purchases.
Most complex: data-driven on purchase history
Modestly complex: item driven, allowing us to customize the suggested products based on presence of other items in the cart
Simplest: pricesheet driven, with universal prioritization regardless of cart contents.

We currently have a feature request created to be able to customize what you see in the side-bar in the shop. I will add some notes to the feature request about data-driven and item-driven options.
Let us know if you have any further ideas!
