Captura's own Capture Software?
Summary: Brian Jones inquired about Captura developing a capture system similar to PHOTOMATCH, used for seamless photo uploads in photography workflows. They currently use PHOTOMATCH for efficiency but find transferring photos to Capture time-consuming and face issues with CaptureOne's tethering. Dana Chappell (Captura) responded, mentioning Captura's existing facematch workflow and provided a link for more information.
This is a wild question but I have to ask.
Is there anything in the making for Captura to come out with their own PHOTOMATCH type of capture system?
(Those that have used Candid Colors know)
Currently I shoot with Candids' PHOTOMATCH because it is flawless. The app itself takes the photos and it directly uploads to my Account and Job.
Imagine if EVOTO had an integration with Captura. My login for EVOTO would be my Captura Acct # and then with EVOTO i see my Roster and can take photos there.
I am asking because If I shoot the Captura's Capture, I used CaptureOne to tether, however the timing is spotty. Sometime the photo shows and sometimes it doesn't.
Again, Currently I shoot with Photomatch and then tranfer over to Capture, but that is very time consuming.

·3 days agoOh I love this idea! I am using digicam to tether currently, and it's ok, but it would be great to have it build into the Captura capture feature!

That is a great questions. Currently we do offer a facematch workflow option. Here is an article that will explain using Facematch in Captura.
