Way to Export ONLY Group Images

To avoid having to manually rename class groups by teacher to send to the Yearbook advisors, after completing a job we export the groups and have them rename the images by Group Name. However, there is no way to export ONLY the group images. If you want to export all the group images, you must also export the individual images under all the subjects in those groups.
We used to be able to filter by the group camera and export that way, however since switching to all Sony it seems like Workflow does not recognize different camera serial numbers like it did with the Nikons, so we can no longer do it that way.
Our current workaround: To avoid a time-consuming export, we adjusted the settings so the subject images will export at 50px aka the lowest possible, and keep the group images at their original resolution. Then we delete the folder with the low-res subject images and just keep the groups, to avoid redundancy in storage.
The easiest, quickest way to solve this issue would be the ability to export only group image renamed by group name. Thoughts? Or any other work arounds being used?

I haven't had to deal with this problem because in the past we have always had our class group pictures in a different job. I did have the problem of it also exporting our hidden group images, including the QR code pictures which is a pain to go through and manually delete.
Considering next year we are planning to move to a Proof Only model, I was considering combining the class group and individuals in the same job to allow for memory mates of fall and class pix. This would put me in the same situation you have.....so I may need to brainstorm a work around for this if nothing is developed before then
