Would love to assign certain template to groups
I'm a product designer and photographer for a local volume photography company. We service some of the biggest high schools in the surrounding area - specifically their athletic departments. I would love to see Captura come out with some way to sort/select by group and assign a product design to that group. As it stands, we cannot easily customize products to each sport.

Admin3 months agoUsing the latest updates to image attributes may help achieve this. Have you seen the latest update on using attributes in conjunction with Designer @Victoria Mossbarger ?
@Meg Heyden (Captura) posted about something similar, showing how to use custom attributes on images inside the shopping experience, and included a video link on this Community discussion here
Attributes can now also be used in Designer on designs like memory mates, so tying all of these tools together may be a solution you can leverage.

OP3 months agoThanks Tearah for the link. It is a better solution; however, with the volume at which we service, it would be very difficult to add the correct emblem/design into every subject effectively.

Right now we do Little League jobs and are reliant on parents to properly choose between softball or baseball templates for their pictures...would be SOOO much better for everyone if we could assign the softball packages to the softball teams and and vice versa with baseball.
We've gotten around this with our high school sports by having a more generic package design that just includes the school mascot logo as job artwork.

·4 months agoNot sure if this will solve your issue but one workflow we use for our sports teams at Eastman Adams.
Each sport is its own job. For example Timpview HS . Football . 25-26 . ASD (School name, sport, year, district)
Subjects are organized by groups and coaches. This does require gathering that data from the coach or alethic director. Each group has its own group image or group photo in the groups under subjects for parents to order. Another way we use that is for fall composites so each parent gets a class photo for whatever group they are assigned to.
Product designs are linked to a job image (There are only 7 job images per job so this may be an issue if you have more then 7 teams in one job) job image is the logo for the team or coach name.
Just one example of how one small studio is doing it hopefully it helps and makes sense.
