Workflow Fall Hotfix v2026.4.2 & Latest Release v2026.4.1-eap.4
Summary: Claudia Platzer announced updates being rolled out tonight, focused on improving the workflow for picture days and enhancing features related to exports, Quick Reprints, and the Shop. The updates aim to reduce interruptions by offering faster exports, improved image cropping, and fixing issues with tax registration and order assignments. The Shop has also been upgraded to hide missing fulfillment products, ensure reliable gallery access, and correct issues with shipping fees. Additionally, improvements include dynamic checkout displays and maintaining hidden design layers.
A quick heads-up: We’re rolling out key fixes to the Fall release tonight at 8pm to help keep picture days running smoothly, along with a packed Latest release featuring improvements to exports, Quick Reprints, and the Shop.

Workflow
Waive handling on $0 orders
Shopping Cart Templates can now waive handling on $0 subtotal orders, matching the existing control for shipping. The setting defaults to charging handling (current behavior); uncheck it when you want handling waived on free / $0 orders.
Exports finish faster
Large subject-and-image exports process much faster. If an export fails, you can start a new one in the same session.
Shop
More reliable gallery access
If a price sheet item points at a missing fulfillment product, Shop now hides that product instead of blocking login or gallery load. Valid products on the same sheet still show and can be purchased normally.

Image cropping performance
Improved cropping on the Images tab so long cropping sessions are less likely to hang with spinning previews that force a restart.
Capture search from Subjects
Fixed an issue where a search on the Subjects tab carried into Capture and couldn’t be cleared — hiding other subjects and leading to duplicates on picture day. Capture now opens in its own default state, with no inherited search.
Workflow Latest Release v2026.4.1-eap.4
Tax registration
Fixed adding a tax registration state failing with an error and not saving. Studios can add states successfully when account details are complete, and clearer errors appear when required studio address fields are missing.
Subfolder exports complete again
Fixed an issue where exports that split images into subfolders by grade, teacher, or image folder were failing as soon as a subject had no value in that field. That stopped PSPA and yearbook files that need a folder column in the data file.
Quick Reprint finds lab image options inside a package
Quick Reprint was failing when a package included an image option from a lab catalog, such as Basic Retouching. The message said the option was missing, even when it was still on the price sheet. Reprint now finds that option, and the order can be placed.

Fixed an issue where a search on the Subjects tab carried into assigning orders and couldn’t be cleared. It now opens in its own default state, with no inherited search.
Shop
Group image selection on multi-node products
Fixed image prefill so Group Image Only nodes use that node’s allowed image types not the first node’s. Individual poses no longer appear as options on group-only layers.
Checkout thumbnails for multi-subject carts
Fixed checkout summary dynamic display images showing one subject’s photos across every line in a multi-subject cart. Each line now shows the correct subject’s images.
Shipping fee when changing delivery method
Fixed a checkout issue where switching between Pickup and Ship to me could create a direct-ship order with $0 shipping. Order totals now stay consistent with what the shopper saw before payment.
Hidden design layers
Fixed hidden Designer layers still appearing in Shop and cart. Hidden layers stay hidden.
