We’re running into an issue with buttons in Workflow and wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing the same thing. Our required button layout is 5x4 (landscape) from Richmond, but the images in the job are uploaded in a 4x5 (portrait) ratio . We’re rendering the buttons correctly in a 5x4 format, so technically everything is displaying as designed. However, because the original images are 8x10, we’re finding that parents don’t always select the correct image when ordering. Our parents don't understand cropping a PNG in my design to finish the button design and/or using the PNG for their package image, which also doesn't work. It seems like the ratio mismatch is creating confusion during selection. Has anyone else dealt with this in their sports jobs? Are you cropping all images to match the button ratio before upload? Are you adding overlays, borders, or guides to help with selection? Have you changed how buttons are displayed in Workflow to reduce mistakes? Any best practices for keeping parents from choosing the wrong image? We have asked Captura to add to the program a way to have certain images attached to a certain product to limit what they can order. If this is not the best solution, we would love to hear how others are handling button layouts in sports workflows. This has become a recurring issue for us, and we’re looking for a clean, consistent solution.
