Capturing with more than one job at a time

Has anyone tried this? We'll be at a school this week where seniors and underclass are in separate jobs because the settings and shopping carts are different. So when we photograph seniors we'll be in one job on one day, then when we switch to underclass we'll be in another job on a different day. We anticipate a handful of students needing to be photographed on the wrong day. The easiest thing would be to simply switch to the other job and Capture them, then switch back to the original job. Has anyone done this and does it work when you sync both jobs at the end of the day?
